Special care – Health conditions / old dogs

All illnesses, disabilities and old age are considered health conditions.

A detailed history of your pet's health will help us determine the best grooming solution.

Filicious Pet Services will not accept dogs with a history of heart attack or seizures, or aggressive dogs. If your dog suffers from these conditions, we suggest grooming at your local vet. If the vet does not have an associated groomer, we can groom your pet under vet or vet nurse supervision (at an additional cost), as we are strongly against sedating dogs for grooming.

All owners of dogs with health conditions and elderly dogs are required to be present throughout the grooming process.

Note: Special care dogs will only receive a basic, comfortable groom (no style cut or specific breed cut).
